New Theme - WP Colors
Ok, here it is, finally! I have had this theme in the works for months now, finally had time to code it. This theme was quite difficult to code, if there’s bugs, please let me know!
What I have done is make this theme available in 4 color schemes and 2 sizes; fixed width and fluid width.
WP Colors is compatible with Widgets, it is Adsense ready, you will see Adsense in 3 locations in the demo, you just edit the 3 files noted in the README in the zip file, to include your publisher id. The Adsense sizes used are, 728×90, 300×250 and 120×600.
The theme is also SEO friendly, using negative margins, the sidebar content comes after your main content in the source code, so your main content is spidered first, which is generally important for your search engine rankings, and it is also ideal to have your main content come before the sidebar in text browsers, screen readers, and browsers that won’t display the stylesheet.
This theme has 2 columns, could be considered 3 since the skyscraper in the sidebar is beside your content. Also, the footer area holds a lot of your other boxes, normally seen in the sidebar.
If this theme is well received, expect more color schemes in the future. Suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

Thanks so much. I must say that of all the themes utilizing AdSense, this one worked the first time. Clear, concise instructions.

Hii,
I adored this layout, therefore I am using. It is excellent… But an important tip, would be to locate sidebar of the left side. I believe that it would be better for the incomes of the adsense. Success!

Hi,
I agree, this is the best WP adsense theme out there.
totally adsense worthy
But I have one question, I cannot seem to add my Social bookmarks between posts and comments. Where ever I add the php code, it’s always showing on top of the post. Can you please suggest me where to add this line so it will be displayed beneath my posts ?
Thanks a bunch. I will comment here again if I figure it out myself

Hello Micheal,
I haven’t tried this one myself, it’s something I’d need to setup and look into to see what’s causing this issue. I can try later, but right now I am working on a project.
Thanks,
Colleen

This theme looks great. I’m going to use this as I’ve had trouble coding one for myself as I’m not very good at PHP and CSS.
Saves me a lot of work :o)

Hi. I downloaded your fluid “colors” theme and am using it on 2 different sites. Everything seems to work great, except…
On one site I downloaded a couple video “objects” from TheNewsRoom.com and added them to posts. The code consists of p, span, object, param, embed tags, and kicks off the flash player. The really odd thing is when the video objects load, it messes up the theme (in Firefox, not IE). The header, sidebars, footer go away - basically you end up with just the background color and the video. When I view the source, everything looks fine. Strangest thing I’ve seen. It doesn’t happen with other themes, so I have to assume it has something to do with how Firefox is handling the CSS.
Do you have any ideas what might be causing this?

I had it running on another site which didn’t get any traffic. I’m going to use it now an a site that has about a 2-3% CTR. So we’ll see! I love the theme.
Thanks,
Steve

What I like about these themes, the footer is prudently designed. It informs viewers who design the themes but not in a “in your face” fashion. Excellent. Thanks for sharing
