At the request of one of our readers, our popular Blue Tech Wordpress theme, is now available in fluid width as well.

I am sure many of you will be pleased about this.

Ok, here it is, finally! I have had this theme in the works for months now, finally had time to code it. This theme was quite difficult to code, if there’s bugs, please let me know!

What I have done is make this theme available in 4 color schemes and 2 sizes; fixed width and fluid width.

WP Colors is compatible with Widgets, it is Adsense ready, you will see Adsense in 3 locations in the demo, you just edit the 3 files noted in the README in the zip file, to include your publisher id. The Adsense sizes used are, 728×90, 300×250 and 120×600.

The theme is also SEO friendly, using negative margins, the sidebar content comes after your main content in the source code, so your main content is spidered first, which is generally important for your search engine rankings, and it is also ideal to have your main content come before the sidebar in text browsers, screen readers, and browsers that won’t display the stylesheet.

This theme has 2 columns, could be considered 3 since the skyscraper in the sidebar is beside your content. Also, the footer area holds a lot of your other boxes, normally seen in the sidebar.

If this theme is well received, expect more color schemes in the future. Suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

This theme is for the holidays, it seems people do like having a holiday theme, which is always nice, I decided to make a new one to add to the collection.

Silent Night is compatible with Wordpress 2.0.5 and it supports Widgets.

I finally did it, our popular Wordpress theme, Blue Tech is now compatible with the popular plugin known as Widgets.

There’s other updates to Blue Tech as well, so here’s a list.

• Sidebar is now all divs/css, it was tables before, making it clunky and hard to add to.
• Added a 1px white top border below the header and above the blue bar to separate it better.
• Added instructions to the ReadMe file to explain how to add more links to the top blue bar.
• Spaced the comments out better and added a solid border around each comment.
• Sidebar links now turn white and underlined on hover
• Made images in posts look prettier.
• Changed the blogroll so each category now has it’s own title.

And that’s all I can think of. I’ve wanted to do this for awhile now, especially getting the tables out of the sidebar.

Inspired by Solemn Orange, this will be a series… not sure what to name the series yet, but this is the second release in this series.

Tranquil Rose works with Wordpress 2.0.3 and it is Widgets Compatible.
