Can now add a shopping cart to your Wordpress blog

Webmaster Community

Cool new plugin, WP Shop allows you to add a shopping cart functionality to your Wordpress powered blog. It comes with PayPal integrated. I was playing around with the plugin in my admin backend, it’s pretty simple, you just need to customize it to suit your needs.

Nice plugin, you’ll have to check it out and see if it suits your needs, not sure what you will sell on a blog, but I am sure you’ll come up with something.

Very cool plug in… now did it work for you? I still have 800 some odd t shirts laying around in boxes… and after reading your blog I thought - what a great way to get rid of them… on my blog that no one reads anyways… only problem is I can’t add anything to the cart… I keep getting an Ajax error…

So I guess what I’m asking is Colleen hows about playing in meh backend ;)

I didn’t try to use it, I just installed it and had a look around and it seems good to me. I can look into it if you want or you can post the error on the page you download it from and the creator should know what to do. :D

I don’t get your point? I installed it and played around with it, it works and seems cool. I don’t have products to sell so didn’t try adding any.

    Ask before implying please. ;)

Thank you for the head’s up to this plugin Colleen.

As blogging continues to grow and become more main stream, I’m sure that merchants can find uses for it.

One blog already jumps out at me (she was a blog tenant on my personal blog a while back) who could use this plugin to sell her candles/bath products directly from her blog instead of having people search for it in the online catalogue.

It is, potentially, one very useful plugin.

By the way, can I know what plugin you use for the comments? Look like can help the user see the preview even b4 he/she finish typing. Is it a ajax based plugin? Thank for the info.
